Joel Poppen is the Legal Affairs Senior Vice President, Legal Affairs, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Micron Technology. He is responsible for Micron's global legal, intellectual property, ethics and compliance, government affairs, and security functions. Joel earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois and a Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law. He is a member of the Arizona and Idaho state bar associations.
Joel serves on the Micron Technology Foundation board of directors, the Idaho Technology Council, and several other nonprofit organizations. He is also a co-founder of One Stone.
