Roger Quarles

Roger Quarles came to Idaho in 1992 after launching a successful pizza restaurant chain in California. He then taught at a high school in Wood River Valley for five years while earning a doctorate from the University of Idaho. He was the Principal at Kuna High School from 2000-2005 before serving as the Assistant Superintendent for a year and then the Superintendent in the Caldwell School District until 2011. He was co-director of Idaho Leads at the Boise State Center for School Improvement for two years and served as Idaho’s chief deputy state superintendent in 2013. Roger has been the Executive Director of the J.A. & Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation since 2014 and a member on the One Stone Board since 2017.
